The PPARX provides a free service that connects consumers with assistance programs that pay for medications. Rx assist is another website that helps you to find programs that will pay for your medications. The programs are put in place by drug companies who provide drugs at low or no cost to people who qualify. Most brand name drugs have programs. To qualify, you must be a legal resident or U.S. citizen, must meet the income guidelines, and can not have prescription insurance coverage. Learn more here. Co-Pay Assistance

What if you have insurance or prescription insurance but can’t afford your co-pays? There is great news for you. Many organizations offer assistance. Browse the extensive list here. Some of the popular providers include:

• Good Days: Pays for co-pays for drug treatments and even health insurance premiums in extreme cases. To qualify, you must have a valid ssn, valid medical insurance with at least 50% coverage, you must receive your treatment in the U.S., you must have a prescription for a medication that is FDA-approved, and your income must be at or below 500% of the Federal Poverty Level. • Pan Foundation: PAN uses the donations of corporations and caring individuals to assist patients in paying their out-of-pocket medical costs. You can apply for help on the website here.
• Healthwell Foundation: This foundation has served over 320,000 patients to date by awarding over $900,000,000 in grants to pay for deductibles, out-of-pocket expenses, premiums, and copays. You can apply for help here.
• Patient Services Inc (PSI): PSY is a non-profit organization that provides guidance and financial support to patients who qualify. To be eligible, you must haave specific, rare chronic diseases. A variety of free legal services are also offered. Apply here.
• Caring Voice Coalition: This program provides health insurance counseling, disability assistance, travel program, and helpful resources to those in need.

Medicare
