Womens Net offers the Amber Grant program which is designed to help female business owners to realize their entrepreneurial dreams. You can apply each month by filling out an application and just have to pay a $15 application fee. Then, one woman is chosen each month to receive a grant of $1,000. Then, at the end of the year, one of the year’s winners is chosen to receive an additional $10,000 grant. That means you can potentially get up to $11,000 to support your business. Of course, you will be up against many applicants so it’s important to tell your story in a way that will appeal to the judges. Crisis Assistance Ministry

The Crisis Assistance Ministry aims to help those in Charlotte to have their basic needs met and to become financially stable. Therefore, if you find yourself in a position where you need some help to get back on your feet, you can reach out to them. Examples of services this organization provides include emergency financial assistance, furniture, appliances, clothing, shoes, household goods, extended support programs, screening for available public benefits, and referrals to other community programs and agencies. Dental Help

If you need help with your dental health, there are several organizations that can help. Few pains are worse than a horrible toothache so here is where you can turn if you can’t afford a regular trip to the dentist.
