Pell Grants for women are only available for up to 12 semesters, which is around six years. Depending on the number of credits you are taking per year, this should be enough to finish your undergraduate degree program. If you receive other forms of student aid it will not be held against you and won’t impact you receiving a Pell Grant. Women who have a parent who died in the line of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan and were under the age of 24 at the time may be able to receive additional Pell Grant funds above the typical award.
